KOREA: Mama-san Procurers

Middle-age women who no longer sell their sexual labor will cruse the streets or hang out in areas outside the clubs seeking customers for women in the brothel they work in or manage. It is quite common to sell a room with the woman inside for the use of the serviceman. The customer pays the mama-san and is taken to the room. The woman inside has no say in the matter and is later paid by the mama-san.
