KOREA: LIVING CONDITIONS

Urban poor shanties often occupy rooftops close to the bars. Several women will share a very small living space, often cooking outside or in the hallway. This woman has just finished the day’s laundry. She will soon leave for the bar where one of her first duties is to clean up after the previous night’s partying.
